Appreciative
Inquiry (AI). AI
involves, in a
central way, the
art and practice
of asking
questions that
strengthen a
system’s
capacity to
apprehend,
anticipate, and
heighten
positive
potential.
Nancy is a Calgary educator,
author, coach,
mediator, and
entrepreneur. She
received a Doctorate
in Educational
Research with a
specialty in
Leadership at the
University of
Calgary and
currently presents
her theories around
the world.
In 2002 Nancy
established the
PULSE Institute,
dedicated to
fostering People
Using Language
Skills Effectively
and with the mission
world peace, one
conversation at a
time. She wrote and
published PULSE –
Conversations for
Change in 2003 and
recently published
her new book Complex
Pulse which takes
her conflict
conversation concept
into even greater
detail.
