About Michelle
Michelle Phaneuf is a Chartered Mediator and Professional Engineer who utilizes interest based tools to bring awareness and empathy to manage workplace conflict situations in a non-confrontationalmanner. Michelle works through her own consulting company, REA- Reaching Enduring Agreements, with Employee Assistance Providers (EAP’s)
and the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) to provide conflict management and conflict resolution services. She is currently the Alberta Co-Director of the Workplace Fairness Institute and assists organizations to assess and audit their conflict management systems to ensure that each employee is treated with equality of concern and respect.
CAREER EXPERIENCE
TransAlta Energy Systems (Winnipeg, Calgary) Initially worked
in a variety of on-site engineering situations in the Winnipeg
branch office. Once promoted to the head office in Calgary I
assisted in coordinating their Service Program, Training Program and negotiating
and monitoring energy contracts.
Principal: Reports & Energy Analysis Private Consultant for the Energy Industry
assisting clients with their energy management needs. Familiar with energy auditing,
energy monitoring and a variety of energy rate structures. Involved with negotiation and
resolution of many Energy Performance contracts across Canada.
Property Owner/Manager – negotiate leases and resolve tenant concerns on an ongoing basis for over 150 clients.
